Carse Cottage is a wing of our house, “Carse of Trostrie”, accessed along a lane which forms part of an old drovers road. The cottage is set in an acre of garden grounds with natural burns, vegetable plot and wildlife area. Beyond the enclosed gardens there are fields containing sheep, lambs, cows and calves, with captivating views of distant hills and the Scottish coastline. Ferngrove Cottage Granny Flat has wonderful views across the Loch to the distant
hills. Guests are welcome to walk round the gardens at any time. During the
summer when we have a surplus of vegetables do not be surprised if you find some
