Airdsmill is a 4 star property available for parties of up to 8, having 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. Airdsmill has tiled floors throughout its ground floor comprising lounge, kitchen with dining area, utility room, shower room with facilities for disabled, separate bathroom with shower, two twin and one double bedrooms. The master en-suite bedroom is on the first floor. The house has under floor heating powered by a ground source heat pump which also provides domestic hot water. A whole-house ventilation system ensures a constantly fresh atmosphere. For off-season bookings the ambience of a log stove can be enjoyed. Sheltered garden with seating is included as is a small decking area adjacent to the working waterwheel. |

We are a family run business offering self catering accommodation with a home from home feel. We are situated in a secluded, rural location yet close to local amenities. Carse Cottage is a wing of our house, “Carse of Trostrie”, accessed along a lane which forms part of an old drovers road. The cottage is set in an acre of garden grounds with natural burns, vegetable plot and wildlife area. Beyond the enclosed gardens there are fields containing sheep, lambs, cows and calves, with captivating views of distant hills and the Scottish coastline. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with attention to detail to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
